Who is responsible for your information?
Joanne Hilborne, trading as Harmonious Hearts, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to Harmonioushearts@outlook.com.
What information may be collected?
This may include your name, email address, enquiry or booking details, communications, payment records and any accessibility, wellbeing or health information that you choose to share so that a session can be considered and adapted appropriately.
The website does not store the information entered into its enquiry or contact-list forms. The forms prepare an email for you to send from your own email account.
Why is it used?
Information is used to respond to enquiries, arrange and provide requested services, keep appropriate business and financial records, manage safety and accessibility, and deal with questions or concerns. Enquiry and booking information is used where necessary to take steps at your request or fulfil an agreement with you. Legal obligations may apply to certain financial records.
If you voluntarily provide health-related information, it is used only where needed to discuss suitability or adapt your experience, and with your explicit consent.
Email updates and consent
Occasional news and event emails are only sent when you have actively chosen to join the Harmonious Hearts contact list. Consent is recorded from your email request. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing the address above, and every update will explain how to unsubscribe.
How long is information kept?
Routine enquiries that do not lead to a booking are normally reviewed and deleted after 12 months. Booking and transaction records may be retained for up to six years where needed for tax, insurance or legal purposes. Contact-list details are kept until you unsubscribe or the list is no longer used.
Who may receive it?
Personal information is not sold. It may be handled by necessary service providers, such as email, website hosting or secure record-keeping services, and may be disclosed where required by law, insurance or professional advice. Where a provider processes information outside the UK, appropriate data-protection safeguards are relied upon.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for access to your personal information, request correction or deletion where applicable, restrict or object to certain uses, and withdraw consent for email updates. You may also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and website forms
Harmonious Hearts does not intentionally use advertising or marketing cookies on this website. Essential technical functions may be provided by the website-hosting service. Enquiry and sign-up forms open your own email application rather than saving the form contents on the website.
